Wildflowers

Wildflowers in Western Australia are well known as one of the most spectacular wildflower displays in the world, attracting over 50,000 people a year to WA from across the globe. More than 60% of the State’s wildflower species are unique to WA. From July to November, stunning wildflowers are scattered across 2.5 million kilometres of the state, showcasing over 12,000 species. Pink boronias, red and green kangaroo paw, magenta paperbark blossom and orange flowering banksias are top of the list for wildflower spotters. Kings Park, the Avon Valley NP, Fitzgerald River NP and the Stirling Ranges are just a few starting points.
