Wadjemup Museum
The Wadjemup Museum is a place for visitors to explore and learn Rottnest Island’s rich history. Take a walk around the museum and discover a range of exhibits including 40,000-year-old artefacts, vintage postcards, contemporary artworks, and incredible outdoor sculptures. The Wadjemup Museum shares the history of the Island through stories about Aboriginal imprisonment, natural history, arts and culture, and contemporary milestones like how the Island was used for quarantine in 2020. Wadjemup Museum is open every day from 10am – 3:30pm.
