The Water Labyrinth

The Water Labyrinth is an interactive water sculpture created exclusively for Forrest Place and is internationally renowned artist Jeppe Hein’s first permanent artwork in Australia. Jeppe has designed water sculptures for countries around the world such as England, Germany, France and the Netherlands. The Water Labyrinth shoots jets of water into the air, creating nine rooms that disappear as quickly as they emerge, using storm water harvested and recycled from Forrest Place. It runs daily from 10am to 6pm unless Forrest Place is being used for events. Kids can cool off in the display and delight in running through the fountains, whilst parents can watch and relax at one the surrounding cafes or beanbags.
