When you step into the venue, you’ll find four unique areas as well as a pirate-inspired play space for the kids. Within The Island, find your own picturesque retreat with its own personality. There are comfy couches, intimate bay window banquettes, or outdoor tables on the water’s edge.

This is quite a special venue, it’s the heritage-listed Florence Hummerston building, originally built on the esplanade in 1929. During the development of Elizabeth Quay in 2012, it was carefully relocated and rebuilt on its own island.

No doubt, outside and in, The Island is a spectacular venue. It’s the perfect place to meet family and friends, host a function, spend your downtime or kick weekends off with live music Friday to Sunday, this sparkling oasis of tranquillity is just waiting to be discovered! Open weekdays from 11.30am, weekends from 11am till late, the kitchen opens to 9pm.
