The Perth Mint

Experience the magic, allure and wonder of gold.

Originally established as a branch of Britain’s Royal Mint in 1899, The Perth Mint is Australia’s oldest operating mint. As one of Perth’s premier tourist destinations and historic landmarks, The Perth Mint offers visitors the opportunity to experience the magic, allure and wonder of gold.

Within its world-class exhibition halls, the history of Western Australian gold, and The Perth Mint, come to life. Discover remarkable stories through an array of interactive displays, historic images and artefacts, which form the backdrop to stunning pure gold exhibits.
