Whistlepipe Gully Trail, Kalamunda

A 3.5km bushwalk through Mundy Regional Park with flowing water, wildflowers in spring, and plenty of shade for dogs (on lead).

Bells Rapids Walk Trail, Swan Valley

An easy, scenic riverside walk with open space and great views. Best enjoyed in the winter months while the rapids are flowing!

Jarrahdale Railway Heritage Trail

A gentle 10km trail through Jarrah and Wandoo forest following an old railway line.

Ellis Brook Valley, Gosnells

Explore forest trails, waterfalls, and scenic lookouts on this varied walk. Dogs are welcome on lead.

Roley Pools Heritage Walk Trails, Roleystone

A peaceful series of short walks alongside the Canning River, with shady areas and spots where dogs can paddle (check signage first). Great to visit year round.

Railway Reserves Heritage Trail, Mundaring

A historic trail linking small towns and bushland – dogs are welcome on lead and there are plenty of rest spots along the way.

A favourite with local dog owners, Slate Cafe combines great coffee and brunch with a huge outdoor area designed for pets. There’s plenty of shaded seating, open grass for dogs to play, and even the occasional dog event or market on weekends.

This trendy Lathlain spot has earned a loyal following for its excellent coffee, generous brunches, and welcoming atmosphere. Dogs are more than welcome in the leafy backyard area, where water bowls and treats are often on hand.
