Upper Reach holds four Twilight Concerts each year to celebrate our Swan Valley harvest and vintage. The intimate concerts have become a sell-out hit, choose to enjoy your own picnic on the lawn or dinner at Broad’s restaurant, enjoying the concert from above. Combine fabulous food, winning wines and marvelous music and you have the perfect recipe for a summer twilight evening in the Swan Valley. Nueva Salsa is the hottest Cuban and New Yorkan salsa band this side of Latin America; their high-energy salsa, mambos, bombas and cha cha guarantee to get you moving to the infectious rhythms! Adam Hall (leader of the Velvet Playboys) takes you for an evening of soul, velvet sounds and groovy times. Think Stevie Wonder, Prince and Michael Jackson and then of the modern Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake and Beyonce. ‘Supersition’, ‘No Diggity’ and many more classic hits will have you dancing in the aisles. Adam Hall and the Velvet Playboys are in demand internationally, but they started playing at Upper Reach 11 years ago. We have always made a point of supporting local Perth musicians. These fantastic entertainers, are an institution of the Perth music scene; renowned for their captivating live performances and raw energy. The final concert in the twilight season is a Big Band with a big sound. 18 of Perth’s finest musicians will be playing Big Band classics, from the 1940’s Swing Era through to modern swing, latin, funk and blues. Add in the swinging hits of vocalists Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble and Dean Martin. It’s going to be great.
