Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Perth, with the City’s annual season of festive events set to burst into life on 13 November with the Turning On the Christmas Lights in Forrest Place.  Lord Mayor Lisa Scaffidi said this popular annual tradition was the first of seven weeks’ of events presented, sponsored and hosted by the City, making the Perth City Festival of Christmas WA’s largest Christmas celebration. “Children and the young at heart all love the colour and spectacle of Turning On the Christmas Lights, heralding the start of the most magical time of the year,” Ms Scaffidi said.
