The Australian Army Museum of Western Australia presents The Great Ride on Sunday October 14th, 2018. In just twelve days, the Australian 10th Light Horse Regiment covered over 800 kilometres of treacherous desert and mountains in Palestine and Syria ending in the fall of Damascus arriving three hours ahead of Lawrence of Arabia. The story is beautifully told by Carmel Charlton in a one hour performance as she weaves together an evocative mix of music, images, letters and poems.
