Got a favourite piece of clothing that needs a little TLC? Bring it along to The Great Global Mend in Fremantle!

Taking place on Saturday 7 November, this FREE community event invites everyone to repair their clothing, learn new skills and help reduce textile waste, all while joining hundreds of people across Australia in a simultaneous mending event!

Hosted by Slow Fashion Hub at FOMO Fremantle, the event welcomes all skill levels, with friendly experts on hand to demonstrate simple techniques like patching, hand sewing and decorative repairs. Bring along a garment that needs fixing, whether it’s a missing button, torn seam or damaged hem, and give it a new lease on life!

The Repair Bar opens at 9:30am for advice and demonstrations, before everyone joins the nationwide mending session from 11am to 12pm.
