Telstra Perth Fashion Festival has come of age for its 20th anniversary, with a dynamic program that celebrates past, present and future. The 2018 program has an exciting array of free and ticketed events that will take over Perth from September 5-15. The spread of shows and activations will contribute to the Festival’s reputation as a conduit for art, music, design and lifestyle and bring together a diverse fusion of industry and community. Signature runway events at the new-look Fashion Paramount at Optus Stadium include Opening Night, Presented by AMP Capital Shopping Centres, which features top Australian designers including Dion Lee, Romance Was Born, One Fell Swoop and Morrison, and Closing Night, which will toast TPFF’s 20-year milestone through fashion and music. Fashion Council WA’s Industry Forum will take the form of a high tea at QT Perth, while the Aboriginal Runway Djurip Djenna Kooling will showcase the incredible work of Indigenous artists to the public. Fashion Central will return to the City of Perth’s Forrest Place for a weekend of free events, plus a cultural program bigger than ever before will extend beyond the Festival dates.
