Taste of Chittering celebrates its fourth anniversary in 2016 with the vibrant theme ‘Fruit & Flowers’.Taste of Chittering is a FREE community event coming to Lower Chittering Hall on Sunday 28th of August, 2016. Held from 10am to 3pm, this family-friendly event showcases a wide range of local businesses and bubbly personalities in one bustling and welcoming location. It will be an opportunity to see and taste the very best of Chittering and there will be much to do throughout the day.Event highlights include: Sip local wine and fermented soft drinks in “The Nook”, taste, then buy your favourites to take home. Shop at a diverse range of country market stalls offering aromatherapy, beauty products, Christmas decorations, crafts, dolls, fashion fresh produce, gardenware, gifts, home baking, homewares, honey, jams, jewellery, linen, partyware, plants, pottery, preserves, spices, toys, upcycling, woodwork and so much more. Savour your lunch in the open air, with local food vendors and invited guests! Plus, there will be a ‘picnic packing’ demonstration with a hamper given away to a lucky visitor. Enjoy a great selection of activities and live entertainment including kids activities on The Village Green, with airbrush tattoos, bubble blowing, balloon sculpting, a baby animal farm, worm farm demonstrations, mini-golf and Chittering’s very own “pop up pump track” (BYO bike!). Discover links to other attractions around the Shire of Chittering.
