Stormie Mills: All the secrets are buried between the oceans and the mountains
01/08/2026 - 08/11/2026A major new exhibition by Western Australian artist Stormie Mills has opened at AGWA.
All the secrets are buried between the oceans and the mountains marks the first solo exhibition by the acclaimed street artist at an Australian state gallery. A defining figure in Australia’s street art movement, Mills has spent more than four decades developing a distinctive visual style, with his work recognised both locally and internationally.
The exhibition brings together a significant body of new and recent works shaped by his travels, personal history and lived experiences. Featuring large-scale pieces – including two 12-metre paintings inspired by the ocean and mountains – the works explore themes of isolation, resilience and connection through his signature monochromatic palette.
It’s a compelling and reflective exhibition that offers a deeper look into one of WA’s most influential contemporary artists.
