After the success of last year’s Made Local Market we are bringing the event back to Stackwood this August. The winter edition of the market will focus on local makers, and will host more than 25 stalls selling locally made gifts and wares such as ceramic planters, artist prints, textiles and jewellery. Stallholders include Bed Tonic, Bahru, Leo and Spargo, Floral Army, Neighbourhood Press and Many Peaks Assembly. The Stackwood studio residents will also be sharing their wares, including ceramics studio Winterwares, art by Sally Mundy and organic products by the newest member of the Stackwood fold Clean Slate Skincare (scroll down for the complete list). The Stackwood concept store will also be full of plants to add to your urban jungle. The market will host food trucks Comida do Sul and Gary’s Diner, and stall Flitch and Leaven serving up Brazilian street food and classic winter fare. Stacked Cafe will be serving coffee and Mary Street Bakery doughnuts to satisfy your sweet tooth, plus there will be activities to keep the kids entertained from local Earth Friendly Arts and Peas in a Pod. Stackwood will be providing refreshment for the masses and local folk musician Lucy Peach will perform as the sun sets on Friday.
