Aboriginal art centres from across WA will be selling original, affordable works at the Fremantle Arts Centre on Saturday 8 April, for the annual Revealed WA Aboriginal Art Market. Don’t miss this once-a-year opportunity to buy works directly from emerging and established Aboriginal artists. With works starting at $50 and 100% of profits from sales returning to the makers and art centres, this is a great chance to add affordable original works to your collection. Travelling from all over the state Revealed brings together artists from the Kimberley, Pilbara, Mid-West, Goldfields, Western Desert, Great Southern and metropolitan areas to showcase the vibrant diversity of Aboriginal art across the state. Browse a variety of works in Fremantle Art Centre’s leafy Front Garden including paintings, textiles, woven items, artefacts, ceramics, jewellery and more. Revealed is funded by the Western Australian Government through the Department of Culture and the Arts; and the Australian Government through the Indigenous Visual Arts Industry Support program.
