Quantum Words Perth is Western Australia’s first writers’ festival dedicated specifically to writing about science, creativity and the spaces in which they intersect. Join us at the State Theatre Centre from 8 to 10 November, when we bring together outstanding thinkers, scientists and creators from across Australia and overseas to engage in conversations about the ways in which we come to understand ourselves, our world, and the expansive universe we live within.

Performances – Direct from off-Broadway, New York-based rap artist and playwright Baba Brinkman, best known for his “Rap Guide” science-based hip hop albums and theatre shows, will be performing his Rap Guide to Evolution and Rap Guide to Consciousness for Quantum Words Perth. Both shows are for one night only! Panels and Discussions – Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th November will feature a series of panels and one-to-one conversations with outstanding thinkers, scientists and creators from across Australia and overseas. Free events – Throughout the Festival there will be a range of free activities and events suitable for schools, community groups, families and children, guaranteed to bring science, creativity and wonder into the lives of all.
