Government House Open Day is part of the 2015 Perth Heritage Days’ weekend program themed ‘People Who Shaped Perth’.  Open Day will celebrate a lineage that stretches back to the settlement of the colony in 1829. Enjoy a dazzling performance of music at its best, featuring WAAPA’s new ‘Indian Ocean Ensemble’ performing alongside the WAAPA String Quartet and other leading performers from WAAPA’s acclaimed instrumental and vocal programme. Book early for an escorted cellar tour (limited numbers apply – bookings via Heritage Perth). Light refreshments will be available for purchase in the Supper Room, courtesy of The Rotary Club of Perth or enjoy a delicious sausage sizzle provided by Scouts WA.
