This October, a brand-new music festival will take root in the heart of the Great Southern. New Farm, New Country makes its debut from 17–19 October 2025 at the stunning New Farm Campground, nestled between Denmark and Walpole on Western Australia’s spectacular south coast.

Spanning three laid-back days—Friday to Sunday—the festival invites music lovers to immerse themselves in an unforgettable blend of alt-country and folk music, all set against the breathtaking beauty of the region. The handpicked lineup features a mix of international acts, east coast favourites, and standout local talent from Perth, the South West , and the Great Southern.

Located on 62 acres of pristine bushland, New Farm Campground sits close to iconic natural landmarks like Greens Pool and the Valley of the Giants, offering a perfect fusion of music, nature, and community.

Leading the inaugural lineup is Swimming Bell (USA), making their Australian debut with a dreamy, cinematic psych-folk sound. Joining them are David M. Western, Charlotte Le Lievre, Emily Barker, The Wilds, The Nomadics, Lemon Myrtle, RACOO, Tammy London, Stack of Bibles, Anna Schneider, and Polly Medlen—with more names still to come.

Rooted in regional spirit, New Farm, New Country is proudly local built by and for the Great Southern. The festival aims to foster long-term cultural impact by supporting local creatives and strengthening the regional economy through partnerships with suppliers across staging, catering, accommodation, and logistics.
