Hill Street Bar supports the Blue Tree Project

28/05/2024

Hill Street Sports Bar & Restaurant is proud to be partnering with Blue Tree Project to raise funds and awareness for the mental health charity throughout the month of May.

To celebrate International Burger Day on May 28, the culinary team at Pan Pacific Perth’s signature sports bar; Hill Street Bar have created the perfect Pulled Pork Burger. This is no ordinary Pulled Pork Burger as it aims to spark a conversation about mental health.

With every Pulled Pork Burger purchased, $3 will be donated to Blue Tree Project, a mental health charity that flourished from a grass-roots movement in regional Western Australia. ‘Their mission is to help spark difficult conversations and break down the stigma of mental health, by giving dead trees ‘a blue lease on life’.

‘900+ trees have been painted blue across Australia and other parts of the world, becoming conversation starters and symbols of hope for many. The visual reminders of the blue trees, help individual’s check-in with their loved ones and mates going through a hard time, as well as using it as a way to reflect on self-health’.

Blue Tree Project is now a powerful platform; promoting and facilitating a better understating of mental health. Pan Pacific Perth, through the Pulled Pork Burger promotion, aims to support the positive changes that Blue Tree Project’s platform has created. With every burger purchased at Hill Street Bar, we are encouraging guests, visitors and staff to start meaningful conversations around mental health. Together building a mentally healthy future.
