Fremantle WA Day Festival

Fremantle WA Day Festival

01/06/2026

One of WA Day’s biggest celebrations is returning to Fremantle.

The Fremantle WA Day Festival takes over Fishing Boat Harbour and Bathers Beach on Monday 1 June (11am–6pm), bringing a full day of live music, cultural performances, food and family-friendly activities. Set against one of WA’s most iconic waterfront locations, the program celebrates the diversity of communities across the state, with performances influenced by cultures from around the world, alongside First Nations storytelling, dance and a traditional Welcome to Country.

Expect everything from high-energy Latin music and dance at Festival Carnivale, to live bands, roaming performers, dragon dances and large-scale visual acts across the precinct. There’ll also be plenty for families to enjoy, with interactive activities, workshops and hands-on experiences, plus a wide range of food trucks and local vendors serving global flavours throughout the day. Free entry, all ages welcome.
