Elle Campbell, a twice finalist of the Lester Prize, is a force of nature. Fuelled by both inner vulnerability and the environment that surrounds, her latest exhibition D O L P H I N blurs the boundaries of land and sea, beauty and chaos, and the past and present – it is equally symbolic as it is a personal allegory.

Painted in the Makerspace studio at The Heritage Collective Cottesloe, D O L P H I N remains true to Campbell’s fearless application of colour and unapologetic mark making. 

Meditating on childhood dreams of the beach and her memories of living in Greece, Campbell has fearlessly brought together a collection of 25 paintings against the backdrop of one of the state’s most iconic coastlines – Cottesloe.
