The opening of Elizabeth Quay will be celebrated with a weekend filled with carnival fun and family friendly activities and entertainment. Visitors can enjoy the start of a three week laser and light show spectacular each night from 8pm, combining different visual effects and dozens of water fountains across the inlet to create Perth’s biggest ever water show. Headlining the celebrations will be the first ever FRINGE WORLD Fairground. Landing at Elizabeth Quay the fairground will feature an array of performances, events, activities and delights reminiscent of the original fairground that was located at the riverside end of William Street in the 1920s. There will be plenty to see and do over the entire weekend with pop up food trucks, music and more.
