This significant Collection-based exhibition examines the relationship between visual art and politics, and how artists respond with issuesbased art. Featuring many works on display for the first time, the exhibition offers a fresh, insightful look at socio-political engagement, identity politics and acts of aggression. A key feature of the exhibition is the presentation of four large canvas works by Tom Nicholson, and a large banner work by Peter Kennedy that records a notorious moment in Australian political life in the 1970s.
