Celebrate the 53nd Darlington Arts Festival on 5 & 6 November, 2016 – a great weekend with a wonderful array of things to see and do. The Darlington Arts Festival Association Inc. presents the Darlington Arts Festival on the first weekend of November each year. Just 35 minutes from the Perth CBD this iconic, free access festival attracts in excess of 12,000 attendees over the weekend period. The festival is essentially free to attend where visitors can explore five art exhibitions, including the inaugural Robert Juniper Landscape Art Prize; relax with continuous entertainment; learn a new skill at the art workshops; browse food, art, craft and produce stalls; entertain the kids with lots of activities; watch Quick Flicks – short videos written and produced by talented hills youth; gather at the Wine Tent on Saturday night for wine, beer and live music. The festival has been progressively evolving to a position where it has now matured into a recognised major, annual Perth event. This year conducted over the 2 days of November 5th and 6th the event will once again offer many activities for all ages. Families and individuals come and enjoy the fun in the unique, beautiful setting in the Mundaring hills. For more information www.darlingtonartsfestival.org.
