OceanXperience is an immersive exhibition at WA Museum Boola Bardip that invites visitors to step into the world of deep-sea exploration.

Running from 4 April to 11 October 2026, the interactive experience lets guests board a life-size replica of the advanced research vessel OceanXplorer and explore the technologies scientists use to uncover the mysteries of the ocean. Through hands-on activities and interactive environments such as Mission Control, the Bridge and research labs, visitors can learn how robotics, mapping systems and submersibles help researchers study some of the planet’s most remote marine environments.

Blending science, storytelling and cutting-edge technology, OceanXperience offers a fascinating look at modern ocean research while highlighting the importance of protecting our oceans for the future.
