Araluen's Chilli and Avocado Festival

Araluen's Chilli and Avocado Festival

11/03/2017 - 12/03/2017

Araluen’s annual celebration of everything chilli is moving to McCallum Park in Victoria Park and merging with the Avocado Festival to bring you one big super food festival from 11 – 12 March, 2017. After many successful years at the Esplanade Reserve in Fremantle it is time for a change and a new home for the Festival down in McCallum Park, Victoria Park. 2017’s Festival will celebrate two of the “Super-Fruits”. Celebrity Chefs on stage, entertainment for the little chilli and avo lovers, live music from our home grown talent, expert gardening advice from some of the best in the industry on how to grow your own Chilli plants or Avocado Trees at home. Bringing the Hills to the suburbs you will be able to wander through the Araluen Village and experience a glimmer of Araluen Botanic Park before you visit in Roleystone. For the first time in 2017, Araluen Botanic Park will be selling Tulip bulbs for you to take home and plant ready for Springtime. The bulbs will be available from the Araluen Village complete with instructions and expert advice from our Horticulturalists.
