UWA Open Night: Business and Commerce
17/09/2025If you’re a current Year 11 or Year 12 student interested in Accounting and Finance, Economics, Management and Organisations, Marketing – or anything else related to Business and Commerce, this event is designed with you and your future in mind.
On the night, you’ll be able to immerse yourself in our school communities, connect with academics and students, and explore the hands-on-learning opportunities available to you when studying at UWA.
Registration is essential.
Experience Business and Commerce in action:
- Get hands-on with an exciting activity in an area of your interest
- Explore world-class facilities including the Rosemarie Nathanson Financial Markets Trading Room
- Hear how you can gain real-world experience with our work integrated learning placement program
- Have your questions answered by our lecturers, researchers, current students and more
- Chat with students and hear directly about their life at UWA
What to expect on the night?
Our Open Night is tailored to go beyond the course requirements, admission pathways and degree information. Our aim is to create a unique experience that allows you to picture yourself as a future student at the #1 uni in WA (QS 2026).
Our event will feature the following:
Information Session – Hear from Deputy Dean Paul Harrigan, alongside UWA students who were in your shoes not too long ago. Learn how they transitioned from high school to university life, and about their experience so far.
Business and Commerce Hub – Discuss with our knowledgeable academics, speak to our vibrant student clubs, learn more about our work integrated learning placement program and more.
Interactive Activity – Take a seat in the classroom and get a taste of one of our four teaching areas, Accounting and Finance, Economics, Management and Organisations or Marketing, as you participate in an activity run by our passionate academics.
