Perth Observatory is Western Australia’s oldest observatory, located in beautiful Bickley. It has served for over 120 years and remains actively involved in scientific and historical public outreach. Our Night Sky Tours take visitors on a grand tour of the universe through a wide range of modern and historical telescopes, including the largest public- viewing telescope available in WA. Our Guided Day Tours take visitors on a fascinating journey through Perth Observatory’s pivotal role in the development of our State, including our museum, rare clocks, and historical Lowell and Astrograph telescopes.
