Immerse yourself in one of the largest contemporary African art exhibitions to take place globally in 2017.Straight from Africa and screened 24/7, Breach features videos that will challenge your preconceptions of Africa. View work by artists who have been shown at or collected by MoMA NYC, TATE Modern, Guggenheim Bilbao, Zietz MOCAA and the Venice Biennale. Engine for Progress enables audiences to witness the creation of a new work outside of a traditional studio setting. Head to the State Theatre Centre Courtyard to watch Gresham Tapiwa Nyaude transform a taxi into a moving artwork. Once completed, the artwork will be parked at different locations across the City. Hitch a ride with the artist around the CBD and between exhibition spaces. Breach + Engine For Progress occur from 10 to 25 June at the locations listed below. The opening night will take place from 6.30pm on 10 June at the State Theatre Centre of Western Australia.
