Entwined in the Swan Valley returns this spring for two weeks celebrating the food, wine, people and stories of WA’s oldest wine region. Running from 5–18 October, the program brings together wineries, restaurants, brewers, distillers, growers and local creatives for a huge range of special events and experiences across the Valley.

There’s plenty to choose from, including long lunches among the vines, degustation dinners, wine and food pairings, hands-on masterclasses, behind-the-scenes experiences and family-friendly events. The celebrations officially kick off with A Taste of Entwined at Oakover Grounds on Sunday 4 October, a free launch event bringing Swan Valley food and wine together in one place. Entry is free, but registration is essential.

A few events to look out for across the program include:

• Rosé Luncheon at Sandalford Wines: Spend Sunday 11 October dining beneath the trellis on Sandalford’s Verdelho Lawn, with a rosé-inspired welcome cocktail, food and a celebration of the winery’s Rosé varieties.
• Paired & Shared Under the Vines at Pinelli Estate: Settle in beneath the vines for a tasting of five Pinelli Estate wines, each paired with generous canapés. Sessions run from 7–16 October.
• Swan Valley Wine Dinner – Oscar’s x John Kosovich x Chouette: On 16 October, Oscar’s in the Valley brings together winemakers Tom Daniels and Ray Kosovich for an intimate evening of local produce, wine and stories behind their winemaking.
• From Barrel to Bottle: Blend, Taste & Discover at Talijancich Wines: On 17 October, taste your way through 25 years of Verdelho paired with local cheeses before getting hands-on with a fortified wine blending masterclass and creating your own custom blend.
• Beekeeping & Honey Masterclass at The House of Honey: Suit up and spend the morning learning about beekeeping before getting up close to the hives and finishing with a honey tasting on 17 October.
• Chocolate Liqueur Masterclass at Margaret River Chocolate Co & Providore: Running across 10–18 October, this indulgent masterclass brings chocolate and liqueurs together for a guided tasting experience.
