Perth’s winter nights will glow once again as Lightscape returns to Kings Park and Botanic Garden in 2026, reimagined, refreshed and unlike anything seen before.

Running from 5 June to 26 July, the award-winning illuminated trail will transform the Western Australian Botanic Garden into a breathtaking after-dark journey, featuring a new line-up of installations from leading international artists.

Spanning a 1.8km trail, Lightscape 2026 invites visitors to step into a world of colour, sound and spectacle, where towering light sculptures, immersive soundscapes and unexpected moments unfold around every corner.

Among this year’s highlights is Mycelium Network, an otherworldly installation inspired by the hidden networks beneath our feet, alongside ‘Herbum’, an acclaimed work by French artists TILT with stems stretching an incredible 8m high.

Since its sell-out debut, Lightscape has welcomed more than 400,000 visitors and firmly established itself as Perth’s winter tradition.

Set within one of the world’s most spectacular inner-city parks, Lightscape brings globally acclaimed artworks to Perth’s doorstep, offering a world-class night out without leaving the home.

With tickets from $36 for adults and family passes from $96, plus free shuttle buses to and from the event, Lightscape delivers an unforgettable evening for families, friends and date nights alike.
