New Year’s Eve Celebrations at Elizabeth Quay (31 December)

The main event! Elizabeth Quay comes alive with Perth’s biggest free New Year’s Eve celebration. The Elizabeth Quay Fun Fair continues with amusement rides, sideshow alley, food vendors, and roving entertainment from 5pm.

For the first time ever, there will be TWO spectacular fireworks displays: a family-friendly show at 8:30pm over the Swan River, and a midnight display to officially ring in 2026. Both displays last approximately 12 minutes and can be viewed from Elizabeth Quay, Barrack Square, and the foreshore near Birdiya Drive.

Rottnest Island New Year’s Eve (31 December)

Celebrate New Year’s Eve on beautiful Wadjemup / Rottnest Island with a relaxed, family-friendly fireworks display overlooking Thomson Bay.

Family Fireworks (FREE):
Spend the day exploring the island before heading to the settlement area for a free fireworks display at 8pm over Thomson Bay. This event is free but requires registration, and is designed to be accessible for families and visitors of all ages.

Samphire Rottnest NYE:
Looking for something more indulgent? Samphire Rottnest hosts a ticketed New Year’s Eve celebration featuring Spanish-inspired tapas at Lontara, grazing stations, roaming musicians, and premium beverages. The evening includes entertainment across the venue and front-row views of the 8pm fireworks, with DJs keeping the vibe going late into the night at The Beach Club.

Mandurah New Year’s Eve Fireworks (31 December)

Ring in the New Year in Mandurah with two fireworks displays lighting up the sky at 9pm and midnight. This much-loved, free community celebration takes place along Mandurah’s foreshore and is perfect for families and all ages.

Festivities typically run from around 6pm until midnight, with plenty of space to settle in and enjoy the evening. While the Eastern Foreshore is the main event area, fireworks can be viewed from multiple foreshore and waterfront spots across Mandurah.

Welcome 2026 at Mindarie Marina with a free family-friendly fireworks event.
