From late August to early October, the countryside outside Perth bursts into bright yellow as the canola fields bloom. Places like York, Northam and Goomalling are known for their sweeping fields, which make for incredible road trip views and photo stops. Many farms have dedicated viewing spots or walking trails so visitors can enjoy the flowers without damaging crops, and local cafés and bakeries often get into the spirit with seasonal treats.

In the Perth Hills, S&R Orchard opens its gates for a magical celebration of blossoms, with rows of cherry and fruit trees bursting into colour. Families can wander through the orchards, enjoy food trucks, kids’ rides and photo-worthy views, all wrapped up in a cheerful festival vibe.

6. Perth Royal Show
