Scitech has a brand new, multisensory exhibition, exploring the changes happening on Earth and how we can innovate solutions for a more sustainable future! In Earth Matters; Rethink the Future, dive deep into the science behind biodiversity, climate and carbon emissions and discover how the smallest of actions can have a big impact on the world around us. See the inner workings of a tree, learn about endangered species and step into a banksia woodland to discover what effect your actions have on the fragile ecosystem. Use pedal power to explore renewable electricity generation, storage and transfer and unearth ways to give nature a helping hand, starting with your own backyard. Plus, there are inspiring new shows in the Scitech Planetarium and Chevron Science Theatre and an interactive sustainability project in the Rio Tinto Tinkering Space.
Entry to Earth Matters is included in General Admission tickets. Bookings are essential, so make sure you purchase tickets online at least one day before visiting. Due to capacity restrictions, access to shows is limited and cannot be guaranteed. You can make it a September school holiday event or an ongoing event. Monday-Sunday 9am-4pm.
